Statement from meeting (please edit)

This meeting pledges its opposition to the points-based immigration system as it affects educational institutions and commits itself to building the widest possible campaign against the rules. We encourage people to approach campus unions where they work and study with a view to organizing activities that draw attention to the fundamentally discriminatory nature of the rules. Academic, administrator, student, cleaner, support staff and catering staff — all of us on campus have a crucial role to play in maximising opposition to rules that threaten academic freedom and criminalise international students.
